Why did you decide to become a pharmacy technician?

I’ve worked at Rite Aid Pharmacy for eight years. I was a front-end cashier for five years. I’ve been a pharmacy technician for three years. I moved to the pharmacy because I could help more people there.

How do you go above and beyond for your customers?

I will help anyone who asks for my assistance. Once, a customer left her debit card on the pharmacy counter after checking out. I used my lunch break to return the card to her.

I just want to help my patients when I can. I love what I do. I don’t need anything in return.

Praise from customers

“I left my debit card on the counter. When I discovered it missing the store had found it and this pharmacy technician took her lunch time to deliver it to me.”

“Opens on time in the mornings because I am always there early in the mornings to pick up my prescriptions. She is also courteous and respectful.”
