Reactions can include agitation, hallucinations, seizures, confusion, speech problems, and aggressive behavior. You should talk with your doctor before taking Valtrex if you have any of the following medical conditions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>HIV<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Having HIV suppresses the immune system, making it harder to fight infections and increasing the probability of getting certain other medical conditions.
