Talk to your doctor if you plan on using turmeric daily.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consuming normal amounts of turmeric in food is considered <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mountsinai.org\/health-library\/herb\/turmeric\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">safe<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, but taking large amounts\u00a0 of turmeric and curcumin as supplements over time can lead to negative side effects like stomach upset and ulcers.
