These symptoms consist of heavy sweating at night, high fevers, and a loss of more than 10% body weight over 6 months. Lumbar punctures, blood tests, and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">bone marrow<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tests may also be performed to check for any abnormal <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">white blood cells<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. To confirm a diagnosis, the doctor will have to take a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">biopsy<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> sample of the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">swollen lymph nodes<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">presence of Reed-Sternberg cells<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> can be identified under a microscope and are unique to Hodgkin\u2019s lymphoma.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Non-Hodgkin&#8217;s<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Non-Hodgkin\u2019s lymphoma<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is diagnosed in much the same way as Hodgkin\u2019s lymphoma. They might also order blood tests to look for any abnormalities and rule out other diseases.
