Abilify is a brand-name prescription drug approved by the FDA to treat <\/span>schizophrenia<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>major depressive disorder<\/span><\/a> (in combination with other medications), and, in children, Tourette\u2019s disorder and irritability associated with autistic disorder. Abilify can also be used alone or in combination with lithium or valproate to treat manic episodes in people diagnosed with <\/span>bipolar I disorder<\/span><\/a>.
