How much does Nurtec cost without insurance?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Nurtec is a premium-priced drug. At the average retail price, eight 75 mg tablets cost $1,376. The monthly cost will vary. Eight pills may be enough to last for more than a month for episodic migraine relief. But for migraine prevention, the standard dose is 15 to 16 pills per month, with one pill taken every other day. The injectable CGRP inhibitors\u2014<\/span>Aimovig<\/span><\/a> (erenumab), <\/span>Ajovy<\/span><\/a> (fremanezumab), <\/span>Emgality<\/span><\/a> (galcanezumab), and <\/span>Vyepti<\/span><\/a> (eptinezumab)\u2014are only used to prevent migraines. These drugs are taken as self-administered injections, usually once per month.
