You may know it as brand-name <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.singlecare.com\/prescription\/adipex-p\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adipex-P<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, or you could be aware of it being an ingredient in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.singlecare.com\/prescription\/qsymia\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Qsymia<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (a combination of phentermine and topiramate).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Concerns abound regarding the drug\u2019s potential for serious side effects, namely cardiovascular or neurologic. These ill effects can be compounded by the concurrent use of other drugs that impact the heart, blood pressure, or nervous system. Taking the antidepressant bupropion with phentermine compounds the danger.
