For some people, yes\u2014but not for everyone. If you experience mild side effects, there may be ways to minimize them, like staying hydrated if you have dry mouth, says Dr. Reddy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the most common side effect of drowsiness or fatigue? There\u2019s a fix for that, too: \u201cI would recommend an elderly patient take second-generation antihistamines [like Zyrtec] at bedtime,\u201d says Dr. Braunstein.
