Methocarbamol<\/span><\/a> is a <\/span>skeletal muscle relaxant<\/span> approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to relieve pain and discomfort caused by various musculoskeletal conditions, including <\/span>muscle spasms<\/span>, strains, and <\/span>sprains<\/span>. <\/span>Brand name<\/span> Advil<\/span>, known by the generic name <\/span>ibuprofen<\/span><\/a>, is a <\/span>nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug<\/span> (<\/span>NSAID<\/span><\/a>) that helps reduce pain, swelling, and fevers.<\/span><\/p>\n
