And the generic can be even cheaper.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"prescription-male-yeast-infection-creams-and-oral-options\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prescription male yeast infection creams and oral options<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over-the-counter creams should work for most male yeast infections, but particularly severe or persistent cases might require a stronger prescription. While there\u2019s some evidence of their antimicrobial properties, as Dr. Goldberg says, there isn\u2019t much evidence specifically pertaining to male yeast infections. So speak with a healthcare provider before trying any.\u00a0<\/span><b><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Apple cider vinegar: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC8369171\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Research from 2021<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> suggests that apple cider vinegar has antimicrobial properties and can prevent the growth of various fungi\u2014including Candida.
