When hydralazine relaxes the blood vessels, it can increase the heart rate, causing the heart to work harder\u2014<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.acc.org\/Latest-in-Cardiology\/ten-points-to-remember\/2015\/03\/31\/11\/38\/Treatment-of-Hypertension-in-Patients-With-Coronary-Artery-Disease\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">potentially worsening angina<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (chest pain) and even possibly<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/my.clevelandclinic.org\/health\/drugs\/20177-hydralazine-tablets\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">leading to heart attacks<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
