What is FreeStyle Libre?<\/span><\/h2>\n

FreeStyle Libre<\/span><\/a> is a continuous glucose monitoring system (CGM) that\u2019s applied to the arm. With a tiny filament inserted into the skin, the sensor is thinner than two stacked pennies and can monitor glucose levels (and store the data) for up to 15 days, using a handheld monitor or a compatible mobile phone and app.<\/span><\/p>\n

The FreeStyle Libre 14-day system was discontinued. Libres also come with an optional, customizable alert setting to let you know if your glucose levels get too high or low.
