The Walgreens at 826 North Main Street in Shelbyville, Tennessee, won SingleCare’s Best Pharmacy for Service award thanks to customers spotlighting the staff’s consistent dedication to helping patients—whether administering a crucial vaccination, offering prescription savings, or just giving a friendly smile.
In business since 2005, the store stands out with two staff pharmacists, Bobby and Tri, and five pharmacy technicians: Crystal, Julie, Veronica, Robert, and Jennifer. Together, they help approximately 500 customers a day.
It starts with a culture of caring about everyone who walks through the pharmacy door. Whether it’s remembering regulars by name, leading a patient to an over-the-counter product on the store floor, making sure they can pick up all of their prescriptions in one trip, expanding drive-thru services during the COVID-19 pandemic, or helping them reduce the price of a prescriptions, they make sure patients feel that culture of caring.
This Walgreens staff serves their community as a whole, too. The staff administers vaccines at local businesses for no charge and does fundraisers at nearby airports for Red Nose Day.
