What is Vanos?

Vanos is a prescription topical cream that relieves itching, pain, swelling, and redness due to allergies, skin irritation, eczema, or psoriasis. The active ingredient in Vanos, fluocinonide, belongs to a class of drugs called corticosteroids, which prevent the body from releasing chemicals that produce swelling. When absorbed into the skin, Vanos reduces the swelling that causes skin irritation, itching, and redness.
