What is Briellyn used for?

Briellyn is a prescription contraceptive used to prevent pregnancies. It comes in the form of an oral tablet. It works by preventing an egg from being released during menstruation. It also makes vaginal fluid thicker to prevent sperm from reaching an egg. Do not use Briellyn if you are already pregnant. Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, headaches, bloating and breast tenderness.
