What is CitraNatal Assure?
CitraNatal Assure is an over-the-counter prenatal vitamin and mineral combination with DHA used before, during, and after pregnancy to provide sufficient nutrition. This medication is usually used along with a physician-recommended diet to help minimize nausea and vomiting
CitraNatal Assure comes in the form of 300 mg soft gels that are taken orally. These gels contain 1 mg folic acid, 300 mg DHA, 124 mg calcium, docusate sodium, 25 mg Vitamin B6 and 50 mg of stool softener. Check with your doctor to learn about the best dose for you. Your doctor may recommend taking this medication before you become pregnant so that your body becomes accustomed to it. Do not take more than the dose recommended by your doctor.
