Before you use Inveltys, tell your doctor about other medical conditions you may have, including if you have glaucoma, cataracts, or if you have had cataract surgery recently. Ocular steroids should be used with caution in the presence of glaucoma.
This medication should not be used to treat viral infections of the eye, such as herpes simplex. Inveltys is not approved for use by patients who are younger than 18 years old.

Ensure that you shake the Inveltys bottle before using it. If you are using Inveltys for 10 days or longer, your eye doctor will need to monitor your eye pressure.
Common side effects of Inveltys include burning when using eye drops, eye pain or blurred vision, dry eyes or eye sensitivity, headache, and runny nose or sore throat. Inveltys may also cause increased intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with glaucoma. Note: Other side effects may occur.
Inveltys may also delay healing if used after you have had cataract surgery. To prevent adverse effects, tell your doctor about the medications you are using, including over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and supplements.
If you have serious side effects like pain when using the eye drops, eye pain or swelling, pain behind the eyes or sudden vision changes, worsening redness or itching, or if you have signs of an eye infection such as redness, crusting or drainage, seek immediate medical attention.
Do not use Inveltys if you are allergic to it or if you have a viral infection of the eye such as epithelial herpes simplex keratitis, vaccinia, or varicella. If you have a mycobacterial infection of the eye or fungal disease of ocular structures, do not use Inveltys.
