What is Mederma used for?

Celacyn is a prescription scar management gel. It is used to manage old and new hypertrophic and keloid scarring on scars caused by burns, trauma wounds and general surgical procedures. Celacyn is not meant to treat or prevent a skin infection. Common side effects may include skin irritation. Call your doctor immediately if you experience any signs of an allergic reaction such as rash, hives, itching, blistered, or peeling skin.
