What is Maxalt?

Maxalt (rizatriptan) is a brand-name prescription drug approved by the FDA for the treatment of migraine symptoms. These symptoms include throbbing headache, nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound. Maxalt is classified as a triptan drug, and it affects serotonin levels in the brain.
