What is Ridaura used for?

Ridaura is used by patients diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis to treat inflammation. These capsules are prescribed to adults only. Ridaura works by reducing the swelling and pain in joints associated with rheumatoid arthritis.

How to take Ridaura

  • Auranofin does not work right away. You may not notice any effects until after 3 to 6 months of use.

  • Missed dose: 1 dose daily: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If you do not remember until the next day, skip the missed dose and just take your 1 dose for the day.2 or more doses daily: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your medicine at your usual time.Do not take 2 doses at the same time.

  • Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.

  • Bloody, cloudy, or foaming urine

  • Metallic taste and sores in your mouth or throat

  • Unusual bruising or bleeding

  • Unusual tiredness or weakness

  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes
