Fatigue is something that most pharmacists have dealt with at some point in their careers. 2. Dress comfortably

Dress as comfortably as you can for a long shift (as permitted by the dress code in your pharmacy). Wear high-quality, lightweight sneakers that are form-fitted and provide plenty of support. During long night shifts, having a lightweight, warm jacket or sweater can help you stay comfortable.

Before a long shift, try to eat a healthy breakfast with plenty of carbohydrates. Eating a complete breakfast can help provide you with plenty of energy for a long shift. 6. Take breaks

While many pharmacists and pharmacy technicians like to charge through their long shifts without taking any breaks, it’s important to take breaks often. That way, you can keep things light and avoid feeling burned out.
