TetraVisc comes in the form of an ophthalmic solution and is used as a local anesthesia to numb the eye before surgery or other treatments. Do not use TetraVisc if you are allergic to tetracaine. Common side effects may include feeling nervous or excited, dizziness, drowsiness and chills.
