What is Enema?

A Enema is any injection of fluid into the colon through the rectum. Enemas are used for a variety of medical reasons, including laxatives, bowel cleansing, bowel management, medication delivery, radiological imaging of the colon, and managing uncontrolled defecation caused by infections.
