Ergomar is a prescription only medication used in the treatment of certain types of headaches and migraines. It is an anti-migraine drug and is classified as an ergot alkaloids. Ergomar works by targeting the blood vessels around the brain that affects the blood flow patterns associated with headaches. This drug will not prevent or reduce the number of headaches or migraines, it only will only treat them once they have begun. Ergomar should not be used to treat common headaches or any condition that differs from a usual migraine.

Place the tablet under your tongue and let it dissolve; do not chew or swallow the tablet.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke when the tablet is under your tongue.
You should not use more than 3 tablets in one day or more than 5 tablets in one week.
Take this medicine at the first sign of a migraine attack.
