What is Glutathione-L used for?

Glutathione is an antioxidant and a dietary supplement that is used for maintaining the body’s immune system. It is used to treat or prevent nutritional deficiencies and severe diseases including asthma, cancer, atherosclerosis, male infertility, cystic fibrosis and other conditions as prescribed by your doctor. It may also be used along with chemotherapy treatment for cancer, to reduce the effects of chemotherapy. Glutathione works by fighting against free radicals that damage cells in the body. Low levels of Glutathione in the body is often associated with poor health. Glutathione is available in many forms including tablet, intravenous solution, intramuscular solution and as an inhaler.
