How to take Glutose 5

  • Tablet: Chew the tablet before you swallow it. Do not use this medicine if the plastic or foil seal inside is broken.

  • Your doctor will tell you how much medicine to use. Do not use more than directed. Carefully follow all of your doctor's instructions when treating low blood sugar.

  • Follow the instructions on the medicine label if you are using this medicine without a prescription.

  • Gel: Twist tip off and squeeze entire contents of the tube into mouth and swallow. If no response within 15 minutes, take again another dose. If there is no response within 30 minutes, call a doctor. Do not use the medicine if tube has been opened or punctured.

  • Measure the oral liquid medicine with a marked measuring spoon, oral syringe, or medicine cup.

  • Missed dose: This medicine is to be used only when needed.

  • Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.
