What is Nestabs?
Nestabs is a prenatal multivitamin/multimineral supplement that is used prior to conception, during pregnancy, and during lactation to improve nutrition in women. Nestabs is Earth Kosher certified, gluten-free, and vegetarian. It is available as a coated tablet that is taken orally. Each tablet contains iron, folic acid, and choline, along with vitamins B, C, D, and E.
If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of Nestabs do not take this prescription medication.
Before using Nestabs tell your doctor about other medical conditions you may have and about all the medications you are taking. You should include all prescription drugs as well as over-the-counter medicines. Providing your healthcare provider with this information can reduce your risk of drug interactions or adverse effects.
You should only use Nestabs as recommended by your doctor. Nestabs is usually taken once daily.
What are the side effects of Nestabs?
Common side effects of Nestabs include constipation, upset stomach, change in color of stool to green, and diarrhea. If you have a fever, black, tarry, or bloody stools, very upset stomach, very bad belly pain, or you are throwing up blood and you have stomach cramps, you need to call your doctor immediately.
Keep Nestabs out of the reach and out of sight of children, as an accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children who are younger than six years old. In case of accidental overdose, call your doctor or poison control center right away.
This is not a complete list of side effects. Consult your doctor or healthcare professional for additional information and medical advice regarding other possible side effects or drug interactions. You can report negative side effects to the FDA.
