This medicine is given through a needle placed in a vein or as a shot into a muscle.
This medicine is not right for everyone. Do not receive this medicine if you had an allergic reaction to physostigmine, or if you have asthma, diabetes, or heart disease.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have asthma or are allergic to sulfites. Also tell your doctor if you have problems with your intestines or trouble urinating.
Excessive watering in your mouth

Severe nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea

Serious Side Effects
Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing

Sweating

Pain, itching, burning, or swelling, or a lump under your skin where the shot is given
