How to take Skyrizi (150 Mg Dose)

  • Injection routeYour doctor will prescribe your exact dose and tell you how often it should be given. This medicine is given as a shot under your skin. This medicine is usually given in the stomach, thighs, or upper arms.

  • Allow the medicine to warm to room temperature for 15 to 30 minutes, without removing the syringes from the carton, before you use it. Do not warm the medicine in any other way.

  • Check the liquid in the prefilled syringe. It should be clear and colorless or slightly yellow and may contain small particles. Do not use the medicine if it is cloudy, discolored, or has flakes or large particles in it. Do not shake.

  • Injection routeYou will be shown the body areas where this shot can be given. Use a different body area each time you give yourself a shot. Keep track of where you give each shot to make sure you rotate body areas. Do not inject into areas where the skin is tender, bruised, red, hard, thick, scaly, or in areas with scars, stretch marks, or is affected by psoriasis.

  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have active tuberculosis (TB) or a history of TB.

  • You will need to have a skin test for tuberculosis (TB) before you start this medicine. Tell your doctor if you or anyone in your home has ever had a positive TB skin test or has been exposed to TB.

  • This medicine may cause you to get infections more easily. Tell your doctor if you have any type or history of infection, including an infection that does not go away or that keeps coming back, before you start treatment.

  • Your doctor will check your progress and the effects of this medicine at regular visits. Keep all appointments.

  • Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.
