Take your medicine as directed. Your dose may need to be changed several times to find what works best for you.
Swallow this medicine whole with a glass of water.
Swallow the extended-release tablet whole. Do not crush, break, or chew it.

Missed dose: If you miss a dose of this medicine, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at your usual time. Do not take 2 doses at the same day.
Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.

This medicine is not right for everyone. Do not use it if you had an allergic reaction to fesoterodine or tolterodine tartrate, or if you have problems passing urine, uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma, or problems with food emptying from your stomach (gastric retention).
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have kidney disease, liver disease, bladder blockage, myasthenia gravis (severe muscle weakness), narrow-angle glaucoma, or stomach or bowel problems (including severe constipation).
This medicine may cause angioedema (severe swelling) of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.
This medicine may make you dizzy, drowsy, or cause blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how this medicine affects you.
This medicine may make you sweat less, causing your body temperature to increase. Use extra care not to become overheated during exercise or hot weather while you are taking this medicine, since overheating may result in heat stroke.
Your doctor will check your progress and the effects of this medicine at regular visits. Keep all appointments.

Unusual tiredness or weakness.
Some medicines can affect how fesoterodine works. Tell your doctor if you are using atropine, clarithromycin, itraconazole, ketoconazole, or scopolamine.

Serious Side Effects
Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
Bloody or cloudy urine, decrease in how much or how often you urinate
Blurred vision or any other change in vision
Constipation
Rapid weight gain.
Swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet.
Unusual tiredness or weakness.
