What is Anoro Ellipta: Uses, Warnings & Interactions

Updated May 14, 2025  •  Published Dec 30, 2020

Anoro Ellipta is a brand-name prescription inhaler for people with COPD.  It combines two long-acting drugs that help keep airways open. Umeclidinium is a long-acting anticholinergic and vilanterol is a long-acting beta agonist. Although they each have a different mechanism of action, they both relax muscles in the lung’s airways. Doses are inhaled once daily.
