This medication helps promote lighter, flatter, less prominent scarring, and may also reduce dry skin. Celacyn Prescription Scar Management gel is generally intended for the management of old and new keloid and hypertrophic scars that were caused by burns, general surgical procedures, or trauma wounds. Celacyn scar gel should only be used under the supervision of a healthcare practitioner.
Celacyn comes in the form of a skin barrier emollient gel meant for external use only. Clean and dry the affected area before using Celacyn.
