What is Curosurf?

This FDA-approved medication is used to treat babies suffering from or at risk of a condition known as respiratory distress syndrome (RDS). Most babies are born with a substance known as a surfactant in their lungs. This substance stops the lungs from sticking together and helps make normal breathing possible.
