Ergoloid mesylates is a central nervous system drug that consists of 3 ergot alkaloids. It is used to treat dementia, Alzheimer's Disease and Arteriosclerotic Dementia. It may also be used to treat age-related Cognitive disabilities such as mood problems, concentration, behavior, and memory. It is believed to increase blood flow to the brain. Ergoloid mesylates is used by adults and is available as a tablet.

How to take Ergoloid Mesylates

  • Measure the oral liquid with the dropper that comes with the medicine. Drop the medicine into your mouth or mix with food or fluids (such as applesauce, fruit juice, milk, or water).

  • Your doctor will tell you how much medicine to take and how often. It may take 3 to 4 weeks for this medicine to start to work.

  • Take this medicine at meal times or with food or milk to avoid upset stomach.

  • Place the sublingual tablet under your tongue and let it dissolve. Do not chew or swallow the tablet. Do not eat or drink when the tablet is under your tongue.
