Ezetimibe-Simvastatin is used with diet and exercise to lower cholesterol levels. It is also used to treat heterozygous high cholesterol and familial homozygous high cholesterol. It contains of ezetimibe and simvastatin. They work together to increase the levels of high-density lipoprotein and decrease the levels of low-density lipoprotein and fat in the blood. Lowering high cholesterol levels reduces the risk of stroke and heart attack in people who have heart disease. It is indicated for use in adults and children 10 years old and older. This medication is available as a tablet.

Do not use this medicine together with boceprevir, clarithromycin, cobicistat-containing medicines, cyclosporine, danazol, erythromycin, gemfibrozil, itraconazole, ketoconazole, nefazodone, posaconazole, telaprevir, telithromycin, voriconazole, or certain medicines to treat HIV/AIDS.
Some medicines can affect how this medicine works.
