How to take Jublia

  • Follow all the prescriber’s instructions when using this medicine.

  • Apply Jublia doses daily for the full duration of treatment to eradicate the infection.

  • Doses are applied using a flow-through brush applicator.

  • Doses can be applied at any time of day, but try to apply doses at that same time and same place every day.

  • To apply a dose, hold the bottle upside down over the affected toenail.

  • Place the brush on the toenail and gently squeeze it to moisten the brush.

  • Gently brush the liquid over the entire top of the toenail, the skin folds at the back of the toenail, and the skin folds along the sides of the nail.

  • Do not press down on the brush or try to rub it against the toenail when applying the medicine.

  • Squeeze the bottle as necessary to moisten the brush, but don’t squeeze it when spreading the medicine.

  • After covering the toenail, place the brush below the leading edge of the toenail and squeeze to moisten the brush.

  • Gently cover the underside of the toenail edge, the skin below, and the edge of the toenail.

  • For the big toenail, repeat this process a second time.

  • Replace the cap.

  • Allow the toenail to completely dry before covering it with clothing.

  • Wash your hands with soap and water.

  • Do not use nail polish or nail cosmetics on the toenails for the full duration of Jublia treatment.

  • Store Jublia in its original bottle in an upright position at room temperature.

  • Jublia is flammable, so keep the medicine away from heat or flame.

What to do if you miss a dose of Jublia

  • Apply a missed dose as soon as it’s remembered.

  • If it’s the next day, skip the missed dose and apply the day’s dose at the regular time.

  • Do not apply extra doses to make up for a missed dose.
