What is Mirvaso?

Mirvaso is an FDA-approved drug that is manufactured by Galderma Laboratories, L.P. It is a topical gel that is commonly used to treat facial rosacea. Also, Mirvaso may be used to treat other conditions as prescribed by your doctor. Rosacea is a skin condition that causes inflammation and redness of the face, which is due to enlarged blood vessels of your face. Mirvaso works by narrowing the blood vessels of your face.

Mirvaso is approved for use by persons above the age of 18. You should keep it out of reach of children. In the case of accidental ingestion of Mirvaso by your child, get emergency medical attention. The active ingredient in this medication may cause serious medical problems for your child. Mirvaso can become harmful if swallowed. Contact your local poison control center and get emergency medical attention if you overdose and have trouble breathing or pass out.
