What is Nepro?

Nepro is low in potassium, sodium, and phosphorus, minerals that can dangerously build up in the body when the kidneys are not functioning. In addition, Nepro is low in cholesterol and fats because patients with chronic kidney disease have a higher risk of developing heart disease and are put on cholesterol and fat-reduced diets. The carbohydrates in Nepro are slow-release carbohydrates to avoid spikes in blood sugar levels.
