Norditropin FlexPro can be injected subcutaneously, or under the skin, in the stomach, buttocks, upper legs, or upper arms. You should change the injection site every day.
Store new, unused pens in the refrigerator, away from direct light. Do not freeze. Do not use the pen if it has been frozen or if it has been exposed to temperatures over 77ºF.
After using the pen, you can either:
Store it in the refrigerator, and use it within 4 weeks, OR
Store at room temperature (less than 77ºF), and use within 3 weeks

The most common side effects of Norditropin FlexPro are swelling, injection site reactions, muscle, skeletal, and joint pain, numbness and tingling, decreased sense of touch or sensation, carpal tunnel syndrome, headache, high blood pressure, and fatigue. You may also experience swelling, pain, and stiffness in the extremities.
If you have any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, get emergency medical help: hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Other serious side effects may occur, including, but not limited to, high blood sugar, inflammation of the pancreas, and a buildup of pressure in the skull.
People with Prader-Willi Syndrome may experience serious breathing problems when using Norditropin FlexPro. If you have Prader-Willi Syndrome, call your doctor right away if you have shortness of breath, coughing, or new or increased snoring.
