Starlix is a meglitinide drug used to treat type 2 diabetes. This medication is combined with proper diet and exercise to help the body to lower high blood sugar. Reducing high blood sugar can prevent conditions such as blindness, kidney damage, nerve problems, loss of limbs, and sexual function problems. Using Starlix may also minimize your risk of heart attack or stroke.

Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.
Take your medicine as directed. Your dose may need to be changed several times to find what works best for you.
It is best to take this medicine within 30 minutes before a meal. If you skip a meal, then you should also skip your dose of nateglinide.

Shaking, trembling, sweating, fast or pounding heartbeat, faintness or lightheadedness, hunger, confusion
Rapid weight gain.
