Only take tadalafil with a prescription and under the care of a healthcare provider. Take the medicine as directed by a healthcare provider.
Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush or chew it.
Do not take more than one dose per day or split the dose into two daily doses.
For daily use, the tadalafil dose should be taken at the same time each day.

For erectile dysfunction, sexual activity can be initiated any time after taking tadalafil.
For erectile dysfunction, sexual stimulation is required for an erection.
Drinking alcohol within 36 hours of a tadalafil dose may lower blood pressure, so alcohol use is best avoided.
If too much tadalafil is taken, seek immediate medical advice.
Always check the expiration date. If the expiration date has passed, dispose of the medication safely and get a new prescription.
Tadalafil should be stored at room temperature. Check the patient information brochure for the ideal temperature range.
This medicine is not right for everyone. Do not use it if you had an allergic reaction to tadalafil.

Tell any doctor who treats you that you are using tadalafil.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have kidney disease, liver disease, lung or breathing problems, diabetes, high cholesterol, cancer (including leukemia, multiple myeloma), sickle cell anemia, bleeding problems, stomach ulcer, problems with your penis, or eye problems. Tell your doctor if you have angina or chest pain during sex, heart disease, heart rhythm problems, high or low blood pressure, or a history of heart attack or stroke. Also tell your doctor if you smoke or drink alcohol.
Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while you are using this medicine.
Some foods and medicines can affect how tadalafil works. Tell your doctor if you are using any of the following:Bosentan, carbamazepine, erythromycin, indinavir, itraconazole, ketoconazole, phenobarbital, phenytoin, rifampin, ritonavirBlood pressure medicine (including alfuzosin, amlodipine, bendroflumethiazide, candesartan, doxazosin, enalapril, losartan, metoprolol, tamsulosin, terazosin)Medicine to treat prostate problems
Do not use this medicine if you are also taking riociguat or a nitrate medicine. You may use a nitrate medicine at least 48 hours after your last dose of tadalafil. Do not take other medicines that contain tadalafil or similar medicines, including sildenafil or vardenafil.
Do not have 5 or more alcohol-containing drinks in a short period of time while you are using this medicine.
