What is Vienva?

Vienva is a combination oral contraceptive that is used to prevent pregnancy. Vienva may also be used to regularize your period, decrease your risk of ovarian cysts, and treat acne. The birth control pill contains two female hormones, ethinyl estradiol (estrogen) and levonorgestrel (progestin). Vienva works by preventing the release of an egg during the menstrual cycle. It makes vaginal fluid thicker, which prevents sperm from reaching an egg.Vienva will not protect you or your partner against sexually transmitted infections.
