Zymaderm is a brand-name topical antiviral solution that is used for the treatment of molluscum contagiosum. Molluscum contagiosum is a viral skin infection that causes single or multiple raised bumps or papules on the skin. Zymaderm is natural and non-toxic. It has been clinically tested and is an FDA registered homeopathic drug. Zymaderm is safe for use in babies who are at least nine months old. Zymaderm contains ingredients such as essential oil of m.alternifolia, b.citriodora, argentum nitricum hpus, fractionated coconut oil, clove oil, and high selenium canola oil. This drug is for external use only.
Do not use Zymaderm if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Zymaderm contains seaweed which contains iodine. If you are allergic to iodine or shellfish you need to consult your doctor or your child's pediatrician before you use Zymaderm.
