Can you drink on gabapentin?

No, you should not drink alcohol while taking gabapentin. Mixing gabapentin and alcohol intensifies central nervous system and respiratory depression, increasing risks of drowsiness, dizziness, seizures, overdose, and death. This is because both substances depress brain and breathing function, and combining them worsens these dangerous effects.
