What does amlodipine look like?

Updated Jan 27, 2026  •  Published Jan 27, 2026

Most Amlodipine pills are small, round tablets that are usually white or off-white. They’re often imprinted with “IG 238”, “IG 239”, “L 32”, “L 28”, or “L 29.” Amlodpine 2.5 mg may be a round pink pill with the imprint “U 1” or “L 28.” Ask your pharmacist if you’re unsure what amlodipine should look like.
