Foods high in added sugars, processed ingredients, unhealthy fats, and high-fat dairy are bad for arthritis. These foods can worsen symptoms by increasing inflammation and triggering joint pain, while alcohol and purine-rich foods may further aggravate certain types of arthritis, such as gout, and interfere with arthritis medications.
