Kimberly Bowman, MD, was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and moved to Oklahoma where she has spent most of her life. She earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1996 and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Florida at Gainesville in 2000. Upon returning to Oklahoma after residency, she has practiced in urban and rural Oklahoma and was also appointed as Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in Tulsa. During her academic tenure, she served as the OB-GYN Clerkship Director and the Physician Assistant Program Director. She currently practices as a full-time OB-GYN hospitalist in Norman, Oklahoma. Dr. Bowman has been in practice since 2000 and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to full-time OB-GYN practice, she writes board-style review questions for the national OB-GYN resident CREOG exam and has lent her expertise to the creation of online educational content for the international publishing company Elsevier.
