A message from SingleCare founder on racial equality and opportunity action plans

SingleCare stands in support of the Black community in the fight against racial discrimination, injustice, and inequality. Actions speak louder than words, and we believe this is an issue that demands our commitment to a sustainable effort, with appropriate consideration of the most meaningful ways we can make a difference with lasting impact. 

After a period of reflection, we have formed a committee of employees dedicated to developing a comprehensive plan that will involve taking far-reaching actions, both externally and internally. Initially, this will include:

• Contributing to non-profit organizations supporting Black, Indigenous, and other people of color in local communities
• Creating new internal initiatives that facilitate racial equity education, and promote opportunity for Black, Indigenous, and other people of color within our own company

Our purpose is not merely to address this issue today, but to develop an action plan for the future. Sustainable change requires time and commitment, and we are dedicated to taking a holistic approach with purposeful actions to promote racial equity and opportunity within our own walls, and in the local communities we support. This is an initial step of many to come in our commitment to creating change and we will share additional updates on our actions in the months ahead.
