Making sure new customers find SingleCare

In the SingleCare Spotlight series, we highlight the people who make SingleCare possible. Whether they work to secure the best savings possible with our partner pharmacies or help send you cards through the mail, every employee at our company is focused on helping you save money on prescription medication.

My team is primarily responsible for new customer acquisition. Meaning, our work is to put our product before as many people as possible. The main goal is to tell people about prescription savings with SingleCare. To do that we use many types of digital advertising—on social media networks, search engines, apps, and other websites—basically anywhere you see an advertisement online.

That involves working with teams across the company—from finance, product, engineering, to data—to make sure that every person who tries our Rx discounts has the best possible experience. Then, changing where we focus our efforts based on how well people respond to those campaigns. That might mean changing where you see our ads—or, what the advertisement looks like. It’s a constant cycle of reporting, optimizing, and improving. We want to make sure that our new customers love using SingleCare so much that they become lifetime customers.

Before SingleCare, I worked in e-commerce. I knew about as much about prescriptions as the average Joe. This company made me understand how complex and under-optimized the industry is, and how we’re working to move the needle in the right direction. With enough time, and enough effort, we’re contributing to changing how the entire Rx business works.

I like the people who I work with. I like the company and the product. It’s nice to feel like I’m doing something noble, something meaningful. We’re not just selling clothing, we’re actually helping people get better access to affordable medications. That means a lot.
