What is Elfolate?

Elfolate is a medical food used to increase the levels of these minerals for people with certain conditions. Folic acid supplements like Elfolate may come in a different form of folates including levomefolate, or methyltetrahydrofolate. They are used to treat or prevent low folate levels which can lead to certain types of anemia.
